Port of Varna EAD has joined the project “Securing Transit Containers” (SETRACON) as a partner within the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 under the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI) of the EU.
The goal of this project is to improve container tracking by means of systematic approach and standard security procedures ensuring automatic identifying and tracking of sealed containers in real time during transportation between container terminals.

The Terms and Conditions and Charges for Services of Port of Varna EAD as a port for public transport of national importance regulate providing of services to shippers, shipowners and other port users and payment for such services, incl. cargo loading/discharging to/from vessels and vehicles and other related activities, in compliance with the Law on Sea Spaces, Inland Waterways and Ports of Republic of Bulgaria.
