Today we celebrate half a century since the establishment of one of the most significant infrastructure sites in Bulgaria – Port Terminal Varna-West. With its strategic importance to the country’s transport and trade network, the terminal has become a key container gateway for Bulgaria and an essential pillar of the national economy.

Over the years, Port terminal Varna-West has not only played a crucial role in the development of the maritime industry but has also proven to be an example of economic growth and stability. It ensures connectivity to global markets and contributes to the expansion of international trade. For the management of "Port of Varna", this anniversary is a source of pride but also confidence in the future, as the terminal continues to grow and modernize.

To mark the 50th anniversary, "Port of Varna" undertook an initiative symbolizing the company’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection. On September 4, 2024, the company’s management and employees planted 50 trees in "Markovo" Park, in the Povelyanovo district of the city of Devnya, as part of a long-term contribution to nature and the community. The initiative was carried out with the kind assistance of Devnya Municipality. The tree planting not only represents care for the environment but also reflects "Port of Varna" 's drive toward a better future.

• The service significantly reduces the costs of cargo handling, ensuring high productivity up to 100 tons/hour;
• A safe working environment is provided, and labor costs are optimized through remote control of a large part of the handling operations by one operator;
• The platform provides fast loading and optimized container weight at a 90° angle, utilizing the full capacity;
• The specialized installation automatically measures and verifies the gross weight (VGM) of the container, ensuring precise accuracy;
• Containers can be used for storing grain cargo, unloading as needed - reducing the risk of contamination and moisture on the cargo.
