Tihomir Todorov
Tihomir Todorov was appointed following a competitive procedure for the nomination of an independent member of the Board of Directors of Port Varna EAD, conducted by the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control.
Tihomir Todorov holds a master's degree in "Economics and Industry Management," a postgraduate qualification in "Business Management" from The Open University, London, and a specialization in "Container Terminal Management" in Antwerp.

Ivaylo Gavrailov
Аfter a competitive procedure with contract No. VD-31 dated June 24, 2022, the Minister of Transport and Communications entrusted the management of Port Varna EAD to Ivaylo Gavrailov, as a representative of the state.
On June 26, 2022, the Board of Directors of Port Varna EAD appointed him as the company's executive member / executive director /.
Eng. Ivaylo Gavrailov holds a master's degree in "Fleet and Port Operations" and additional specialization in port management from APEC - Belgium.
He started working at Port Varna EAD in 1995 and after 2000, he accumulated years of experience in the management of private and state enterprises in various leadership positions in maritime transport and industry, including over 15 years as the Executive Director of "Port Lesport" AD / with a capital of BGN 15 million /, "Bulgarian Maritime Qualification Center" AD / with a capital of BGN 32.9 million /, and "Port Varna" EAD / with a capital of BGN 8.5 million /.

Alexandаr Alexandrov
Alexandаr Miladinov Alexandrov was appointed after a competitive procedure for the nomination of an independent member of the Board of Directors of Port Varna EAD, conducted by the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control. Mr. Alexandrov holds a master's degree in "Railway Transport Operations" with a qualification in "Mechanical Engineer."
He is an experienced expert in planning, management, and development of transportation structures, financial and economic analysis of investment initiatives. He has extensive managerial experience in comprehensive development and construction (including FIDIC expertise) of port infrastructure in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of the Port Infrastructure State Enterprise.

Stefan Semov
Stefan Semov is a member of the Borad of Directors of "Port of Varna", representing the state, appointed by the Minister of Transport and Communications. He holds a master's degree in "Navigation" with the qualification of "Marine Engineer"and has extensive experience as a Master Mariner on various types of vessels as bulk carriers, Ro-Ro, Container ships and ships in the offshore sector.
Stefan Semov has administrative experience in Alinaz Bulgaria, in the voluntary pension insurance department, as well as being a Crew Manager in the maritime industry.
Stefan Semov has a long-standing experience as an international marine surveyor and also he is one of the founders of the "Mayday" Foundation which works for the sustainable development of Varna and te Northern Black Sea region.

Kiril Karagyozov
Kiril Karagyozov was appointed after a competitive procedure for the selection of a member of the Board of Directors of Port Varna EAD - representing the state, conducted by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Kiril Karagyozov holds a master's degree in "Navigation" with a qualification of "Engineer-Navigator" and has extensive expert experience in the operational activities of Port Varna EAD in the position of "Production Organizer."

The members of the Board of Directors are appointed following competitive procedures announced by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the "Agency for Public Enterprises and Control."
The remuneration of the members of the Board of Directors is determined in the Management Agreements of "Port of Varna" JSC, in accordance with Article 56 of the Public Procurement Act and is disclosed in the published annual reports of the company.
